Trikaal Sandhya (Trisandhya) is a profound spiritual practice revealed in the Bhavishya Malika by Dr. Pandit Shri Kashinath Mishra. It involves chanting a specific sequence of mantras three times a day to cleanse spiritual impurities and serve as a divine protective shield against the catastrophic events of the current Yuga transition.
Welcome to the divine path of salvation. As guided by the eminent scholar of Shri Jagannath culture, Dr. Pandit Kashinath Mishra, here is everything you need to know about adopting the life-saving practice of Trisandhya into your daily routine.
What is Trikaal Sandhya?
Trikaal Sandhya is described as an Amrit Dhara (life-giving elixir). It is not merely a traditional ritualistic puja, but a supreme form of "Vandana" (prayer) performed during the three critical twilight phases of the day. According to the scriptures, during these specific transitional moments, Lord Mahavishnu is actively praised by deities, sages, and celestial beings in higher realms like Goloka and Brahma Loka. Performing Trisandhya aligns our earthly consciousness with this cosmic worship.
Why is it So Important Now?
With over 40-years of deep study of the 600-year-old Malika scriptures, Dr. Pandit Kashinath Mishra explains that Kaliyuga has already ended. We are currently living in the Yuga Sandhya (the transitional period or Sangam Yuga) before Satya Yuga begins.
This transition is marked by extreme global purification. The world is facing an onslaught of Pancha Mahabhuta (five elemental) calamities:
Water & Air: Tsunamis, cloudbursts, and super-cyclones.
Fire & Space: World wars, solar storms, and multiple suns.
Earth: Massive earthquakes and geographical shifts.
Alongside these natural calamities, 64 types of major epidemics and intense societal violence will peak. Humanity is largely unaware of this timing. Trisandhya is the only survival tool for this era. According to the scriptures and current population of the world, Only 640 million out of the current population of over 8 Billion will be able to enter the new era of Satyug, which is likely to begin from 2032. Dr Pandit Shri Kashinath Mishra preaches that following the path of being pious, vegetarian, addiction free and practices the Trikaal Sandhya, Madhav Naam Jap and daily reading of Shrimad Bahgwat Mahapuran will create an impenetrable Suraksha Kavach (protective shield) around the devotee and their family, allowing them to safely navigate the destruction and enter Satya Yuga.Â
Who Can Do It, and Where?
The beauty of Trisandhya lies in its universal accessibility:
Who: Absolutely anyone can perform it. There are zero restrictions based on caste, religion, gender, or physical condition. Women can practice it freely during any phase of life. It is designed for the upliftment of all humanity.
Where: It can be performed anywhere. While doing it at home is ideal, if you are at the office, traveling, or busy with business, you can perform it right where you are.
What is the Time for Trisandhya?
To harness the maximum divine energy, the practice must be done during the three cosmic twilight zones when the deities themselves are worshiping:
Morning (Brahma Muhurta): 3:45 AM to 6:30 AM (Before sunrise)
Noon: 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Evening: 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM (Half and Hour Before Sunset to Half and Hour After Sunset)
The Core Components of Trisandhya
The practice consists of a highly specific sequence of the most potent mantras and stutis from Sanatan Dharma:
Om Chanting (3 times)
Gayatri Mantra (3 times)
Shri Vishnu Shodashnaam Stotram (The 16 sacred names of Lord Vishnu to be remembered during different activities)
Shri Dashavatar Stotram
Durga Madhav Stuti
Mental Chanting of "Madhav" Naam 108 Times
Jaighosh (Group chants of praise and gratitude.)
Dr. Kashinath Mishra outlines a very simple and practical procedure:
Trisandhya Procedure
Purification: Take a physical bath if possible. If you are at work or traveling, perform a Manasik Snan (mental bath) by simply closing your eyes and feeling mentally cleansed by the holy Ganges.
Alignment: Sit calmly facing East or North. If you are in a public space or at work, simply connect mentally.
Recitation: Recite the sequence of components mentioned above.
Daily Companions: Alongside performing Trisandhya three times a day, devotees are instructed to continuously chant the name "Madhav" throughout the day and read one chapter of the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran daily.
What Are the Benefits?
Absolute Protection: Shields the practitioner from sudden death, natural disasters, and severe illnesses (even chronic diseases) during the turbulent Yuga transformation.
Spiritual Evolution: Rapidly cleanses the soul of Kaliyuga's deep-rooted impurities, transforming an ordinary human into a divine being.
Attaining the Lord: Regular practice ensures you receive the direct grace of Lord Kalki Ram (Satya Anant Madhav) and secures your salvation (Moksha).
